Individualistic anthropology and its attack on human life

Rector of the Academy of Zamość, professor at that institution, and holder of a habilitation degree in the humanities (philosophy). He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy at the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL), where he earned his master’s degree in 1994 under the supervision of Fr. Prof. M.A. Krąpiec; completed the Postgraduate Programme in Constitutionalism at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in 1998; and earned his PhD in 1999 under the supervision of Fr. Prof. A. Maryniarczyk. He obtained his habilitation in 2014 at the Faculty of Philosophy at KUL. He is the author of over 250 scholarly and popular science publications, as well as several books, including works on the philosophy of Feliks Koneczny, human freedom, the anthropological and social determinants of law, and upbringing. His research focuses on classical and metaphysical philosophy (theories of law, man, civilization, politics, upbringing, and education). He is a contributor and author of entries in Powszechna Encyklopedia Filozofii (“Universal Encyclopaedia of Philosophy”) and Encyklopedia Filozofii Polishej (“Encyclopaedia of Polish Philosophy”); a member of the Polish Society of Thomas Aquinas, the KUL Scientific Society, and other associations. He was previously affiliated with the Catholic University of Lublin and the State Higher Vocational School in Chełm. He has been an advisor to the Minister of Education and Science since 2020; he has been rector of the Academy of Zamość since 2021 (re-elected for the 2024–2028 term).
